Pittsburgh Steel City Selects Girls Hockey Association is proud to introduce the PSCS Girls’ STEEL program.  On March 30, 2009, Pittsburgh Steel City Selects Girls Hockey was formed as an all-girls hockey association in Western Pennsylvania. Our mission from day one was to develop and prepare female athletes for the opportunity to play at higher levels, including on college teams. We strive to build a foundation that develops female self-confidence, self-esteem, teamwork and leadership.  As important as these qualities are on the ice, they are equally as valuable off the ice as part of a life-long foundation.  We are proud to announce our partnership with Koppers to launch PSCS Girls’ STEEL:

As part of the STEEL program, we will be partnering with speakers and experts in our area to focus on leadership development, collaboration, mentorship (including past PSCS players), under represented career areas such as STEM and public office and other area of interest.
